Jabra announces Elite 4 Active earplugs with active noise cancellation
Jabra has released its new Elite 4 Active wireless earbuds. These earplugs include active noise cancellation. The Elite 4 Active earphones have a suggested retail price of 120 euros.
The Jabra Elite 4 Active earbuds feature 6mm drivers and support active noise cancellation, a HearThrough transparency mode and an adjustable equalizer. Those functions can be set via a companion app. The earplugs are aimed at athletes and have an IP57 certification for dust and water resistance.
According to Jabra, the Elite 4 Active offer a battery life of 7 hours. With the accompanying charging case, this can be extended to 28 hours, the manufacturer claims. The case can fully charge the earbuds in 180 minutes and according to Jabra, the earbuds offer an hour of use after a 10-minute charge. The charging case itself is charged via USB-C.
The earbuds also support Bluetooth 5.2 and the SBC and Qualcomm aptX codecs. For Android, the earbuds support Spotify Tap and Google Fast Pair. The Elite 4 Active also has support for Amazon’s Alexa, Siri and the Google Assistant. Jabra has now made the earplugs available on its website. The earplugs cost 120 euros and are available in black, blue and green.
