Intel will show first Arc Pro GPU for workstations next week
Intel will demonstrate an Arc Pro video card for workstations for the first time next week. The company will do so during Siggraph 22, an event for computer professionals that starts next Monday. It is not known when the Arc Pro GPUs will be released.
The arrival of Arc Pro is confirmed on Intel’s websitewhich says the chipmaker will be demonstrating an ‘entry-level’ Arc workstation card during Siggraph, noted Twitter user momomo_us on. “Intel will show its just announced Arc Pro Graphics workstation GPUs, running Sketchup with the D5 renderer,” reads the manufacturer’s Siggraph page. During the demo, the maps use ray tracing and the XeSS upscaling technique to render realistic images.
This is the first time Intel has formally mentioned its Arc Pro video cards. The company has so far only presented Arc Alchemist video cards for gamers, although the manufacturer has previously confirmed that Arc workstation cards are on the way. The company recently released its first Arc video cards for laptops and desktops in select countries after a previous delay. Those cards performed well in certain games, but also suffered from driver issues.
