Intel has released four Haswell CPUs and three Haswell Socs for the laptop market. The chip manufacturer has also added three Celeron and a Pentium CPU based on the Bay Trail architecture for the mobile market to its range.

Compared to older Haswell models, Intel has given the new processors a higher clock speed. Among the energy-efficient ulv models, which have a ‘U’ in the model name, you will find dual-core Core i5 SOCs with speeds up to 3GHz and 4MB L3 cache. The socs are equipped with Hyperthreading and turbo boost. An Iris 5100 GPU is also included in the socs. The tdp is specified by Intel at 28W, reports Cpu-world.

The H models contain two to four computing cores. The fastest and most expensive model, the i7-4980HQ, is clocked at 2.8GHz and has a turbo of 4GHz. The CPU has 6MB L3 cache and an Iris Pro 5200 GPU. The tdp is 47W. The list also includes two slower H models and a dual-core Core i5-4210H with an HD4600 GPU.

Intel also puts a number of cheaper 22nm CPUs on the market in the Celeron and Pentium series. These are based on the Bay Trail architecture. The Celeron CPUs contain two to four computing cores, with the quad-core model also having double the amount of L2 cache. The tdp values are 4.3 to 7.5W.
