Intel has released the Arc A580. The budget video card for desktops has a G10 GPU with 24Xe cores and a TBP of 185W. Versions have been released from three manufacturers, selling the card for $179.

Three models of the Intel Arc A580 have been released. These are from ASRock, Gunnir and Sparkle. These are models for low and medium specifications for gamers who should achieve at least a 1080p resolution. The cards have 24 Xe cores, 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a memory bandwidth of 512GB/s. The cards also have 24 ray tracing units and 384 XMX engines. The cards have a total board power of 185W. The cards have an official clock speed of 1.7GHz.

Benchmarks that Intel itself has released show that the card performs better than the comparable RTX 3050 and the RX 6600. The first reviews of the model from TechPowerUp, among others seem to support that conclusion.

The GPU costs $179. European prices are not yet known, but converted to euros including VAT, this would amount to 204 euros. Previously, rumors emerged that the card should cost between 189 and 245 euros. This appears to make the A580 a few tens of euros cheaper than the Arc A750, a better model that can now be purchased for just over 260 euros. That model has four extra Xe cores and a base clock speed of 2.05GHz.
