Intel introduces eight new desktop processors

Intel has added eight new Haswell architecture-based processors to its price list. It concerns four Core i3s and four Pentiums. With both the Pentiums and the Core i3s, there are two economical models with a TDP of 35W.

All the new processors are dual cores, but only the Core i3s have support for HyperThreading as usual. Six chips are new versions of existing Haswell chips, with clock speeds 100MHz higher than the processors already on the market.

Two models are variants with lower TDP. These are the Pentium G3450T and the Core i3-4360T. Prices of the existing non-T models have been reduced from $149 to $138 on the Core i3-4360 and from $86 to $75 on the Pentium G3450, the same price as the new T models.

The prices of the other models are equal to those of the processors that follow them, according to Intel’s price list, where Cpu-world quotes.
