Intel introduces Arc A570M and A530M GPUs for laptops

Intel has released two new Arc A graphics cards for laptops without any announcement. The Arc A530M and Arc A570M have twelve and sixteen Xe cores respectively, for a total of 192 and 256 execution units.

Intel did not announce the video cards in a press release, but has since released drivers for the two GPUs and specifications publishedLike this Videocardz noted. The A570M has 16 Xe cores, just like the lower-positioned A550M. However, the new variant has a higher clock speed of 1.3GHz, while the previous variant was clocked at 900MHz. The TGP has also been increased by 15W; in the A570M this varies from 75 to 95W.

The A530M, in turn, is a new configuration with twelve Xe cores and a clock speed of 1.3GHz. This card has a TGP of 65 to 95W. Both cards also have a PCIe 4.0 x8 interface. Intel does not report how much memory the GPUs can be equipped with.

It also appears that both video cards use a new ACM-G12 GPU. That appears from information from the mesa repository, commented @Bionic_Squash. Intel previously published details and images of that GPU, which was initially used for the Arc Pro A60 GPU for workstations, writes Videocardz. However, these are the first consumer graphics cards to use a G12 GPU.

With the introduction of the A570M and A530M, Intel’s lineup of Arc laptop graphics cards now consists of seven different models. The company initially came with five laptop GPUs with 6 to 32 Xe cores. The company has also released three consumer desktop graphics cards: the Arc A770, A750 and A330.
