Intel document confirms full line-up of fourteenth generation Core CPUs
Intel has shared the product names of its entire lineup of 14th Gen Core CPUs for desktops early. The names were included in a notification about upcoming changes to product packaging. The CPUs are rumored to be officially announced next week.
The processors are included in a recent product change notification in which Intel shares details about changes to its LGA1700 trays, which are used to ship CPUs to OEMs and retailers. That commented @Komachi_Ensaka. In addition to existing Alder Lake and Raptor Lake CPUs, that list also includes 25 product names of Intel’s upcoming fourteenth generation Core desktop processors. The chipmaker has not previously confirmed that these chips are coming.
The model number list matches previous rumors, also writes VideoCardz. Intel would come with a Core i9-14900K, Core i7-14700K and Core i5-14600K, in addition to their respective KF variants without an integrated GPU. The list also mentions the arrival of non-K models that cannot be overclocked and so-called Intel 300 CPUs. The latter chips also appeared in previous rumors; these would be budget processors with two P-cores.
There have been rumors going around about Intel’s upcoming desktop processors for some time now. The series is expected to be a refresh of Intel’s Raptor Lake chips with mainly higher clock speeds, which have been available since last year. The processors recently appeared at a British retailer. According to previous rumors, Intel will announce the chips next week.
