Instagram app beta for Windows 10 Mobile released
Instagram has released a beta version for Windows 10 Mobile. The app is available for Windows 10 Mobile. That doesn’t make it the promised Universal app that was announced at a Windows 10 event in New York last October.
Like other Instagram versions, Windows users can log in with their Facebook account or with their own Instagram account, although Microsoft itself reports on Instagram’s Windows Store page that there are problems logging into Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile. via Facebook.
Also, the ‘Send to’ function does not yet work properly and the app may be unstable or crash spontaneously while processing photos. New Windows app users will be notified to provide feedback should they encounter any issues during the beta.
It is not yet clear when a possible Universal app from the photo sharing application will be on the roll. A poorly maintained beta app for Windows 8 and later Windows 10 has been around since 2013, but the text accompanying that app reports 150 million users of the social network, which shows that this app is quite behind.
