Insta360 releases a gimbal that uses AI to track objects and people. The gimbal is called Insta360 Flow and has a built-in selfie stick and tripod. The device is available immediately for 169 euros.

The Insta360 Flow is intended for attaching a smartphone. It is then mechanically stabilized on three axes for smoother video recording. The gimbal also has a built-in selfie stick and a fold-out tripod. When the selfie stick is fully extended, the device is 215mm long. According to Insta360, the device has a battery life of up to twelve hours. The Flow uses Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to a smartphone. The Flow can also be used as a power bank via a USB-C connection.

Insta360’s device says it uses AI that the company calls “Deep Track 3.0.” That should help the gimbal better track subjects in real time. The device also automatically frames photos. The AI ​​could continue to track people and objects, even if they are temporarily out of view. The Flow also recognizes hand gestures. In this way, the device can be operated remotely.

The Flow can handle smartphones that are between 6.9 and 10 mm thick, have a maximum width of 64 to 84 mm and a weight of 130 to 300 grams. The device is available in two colors and can be purchased immediately for 169 euros.
