Inspection reports confirm the arrival of Windows 10 tablet from Samsung
Test reports have appeared online confirming that Samsung is working on a tablet with Windows 10. It is probably a successor to the Galaxy TabPro S, a 12-inch tablet from the South Korean hardware maker that was released last year.
The approval reports are from the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG, two bodies that approve all hardware with WiFi and Bluetooth before release. The WiFi inspection shows that it is a tablet with Windows 10, while the Bluetooth inspection confirms the type number. Both inspections usually take place in the few months before the release of a product.
Samsung released the Galaxy TabPro S in the spring of last year. The TabPro S is a 12″ tablet with included keyboard cover, Windows 10 and OLED screen. The screen has an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels.
The type number of the device is W727V, where the TabPro S has W700 and W707 as type numbers. It is unknown what specifications the device has, but it is obvious that it is again a tablet with a 4.5W processor from Intel and an OLED screen.
The first time Samsung will hold a major event is in just over three weeks, ahead of the Mobile World Congress telecom trade show. Earlier there were rumors about a tablet in the Tab S line.
