Inspection points to a rapid release of the successor to the foldable Huawei Mate Xs smartphone

An inspection by the Wi-Fi Alliance indicates that the successor to the Huawei Mate Xs smartphone will soon appear. A smartphone with a type number that is in line with previous rumors passed the inspection last week.

That type number is TET-NX9, according to the inspection . The first three letters of a Huawei phone model number refer to the code name and according to previous rumors, this is Teto. As a result, it looks like the release of the Mate X2 will follow soon , GSMArena reports .

According to a previous rumor, the successor to the Mate Xs no longer has a screen on the outside, but on the inside. On the strip on the side there is a small screen under the cameras containing the fingerprint scanner. The large OLED screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz and is said to come from Samsung and BOE.

The Mate Xs came out in the Benelux earlier this year, but Huawei showed predecessor Mate X for the first time a year and a half ago. It is still unknown when the Chinese manufacturer would like to present the foldable phone.
