Inspection body shows photos of unannounced Samsung Watch 3
The South Korean inspection agency NRRA has shown photos of two unannounced Samsung smartwatches. It seems to be two variants of the Galaxy Watch 3, which have recently been rumored.
It concerns the SM-R850 and SM-R840, according to the inspections. The inspections do not reveal anything about the smartwatches, except for the sar value. It is slightly lower in the larger version. Other specs recently came out via SamMobile.
These are watches with a clock of 41mm and 45mm, with round screens of 1.2″ and 1.4″. The rotating bezel for controlling the Tizen software returns, having been missing from last year’s Watch Active models. The watches would have a heart rate monitor and could offer the possibility to make an ECG, just like recent models of the Apple Watch.
The battery capacity is 247mAh and 340mAh, smaller than that of the Galaxy Watch models from two years ago. The watches would be 11.1mm and 11.3mm thick. When the announcement will follow is still unknown. Samsung has been announcing new hardware in August for several years now; often a watch is included in addition to a Galaxy Note smartphone.
