InkyPen subscription service for comic books is coming to Nintendo Switch
InkyPen, a new comic book subscription service, is coming to Nintendo Switch in November. Users pay eight euros per month and receive access to ‘thousands of comics’ via an app.
The service includes comics from Star Wars, Transformers, Judge Dredd, Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer. There are also comics based on games such as Dark Souls, Dishonored, Assassin’s Creed and Sonic the Hedgehog.
InkyPen is a new subscription service and will only be available on Nintendo Switch for now. The service was set up by a Norwegian company. A press kit on the company’s website states that there are more than ten thousand comics to read and that the offer also includes manga.
InkyPen appears as an app on Nintendo Switch via the eShop. Few apps are available for the Nintendo console anymore. For example, there is no Netflix application available. There is an app for streaming service Hulu in the US, but it is not available in the Benelux.
