ING customers have to deal with disruptions in payment orders

ING has warned its customers that there is a delay in executing payment orders. The bank calls on people to postpone orders that fail and not to redo them.

ING reports the delays on its website and on Twitter. The bank writes there that the problems apply to private individuals and business accounts, in addition to the Mobile Banking app. The bank writes, among other things: “If you have placed an order, keep an eye on your debits and credits. Do not execute the order again until we have indicated that the problem has been solved.”

On All Failures, users report the issues, with two spikes seen over the course of the day. People claim that they cannot make payments, but that no payments can be made to their ING account either. The customer service says that the problems only occur with outgoing payments.
