ING customers cannot transfer money due to suspected malfunction – update
Some of the ING customers are unable to transfer money or make payments. This is evident from reports that customers make online. The bank itself has not yet confirmed the malfunction, but has seen that a striking number of people report the problems.
The problems seem to occur both in the app and with banking via the browser. Customers say they can log in, but after that they do not see an overview or payments are not successful. The outage started around ten o’clock, according to AlleStoringen.
The bank itself knows of no malfunction and advises customers via Twitter to try it by refreshing the page or restarting the app. That seems to work for some customers, but many continue to experience issues with the site and app. It happens more often that the bank suffers from malfunctions. It is unknown how many customers have been affected.
