Indiegogo now provides ‘trusted’ accounts with ‘Trust Proven’ label
Indiegogo will soon label campaigners with successful past campaigns. The ‘Trust Proven’ label should make it easier for backers to find and back up reliable projects.
The platform will also look at the positive feedback a campaigner has already received in the past and whether the extras that were promised were delivered to the backers. For now, only Indiegogo campaigners from the technology and innovation category will be examined who have already started several crowdfunding projects in their category in the past.
The team behind Indiegogo stilt that it can revoke the ‘Trust Proven’ label if an account is found not to comply with the platform’s policies. According to the company, four accounts have been awarded the so-called Trust Proven label for the time being.
