Hades, an award-winning indie game from 2020, will be released for consoles on August 13. The game is coming to PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox consoles. The Xbox version will be part of the Game Pass subscription. The game was already available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
The PlayStation 5 version of Hades will receive support for the DualSense controller and will run in 4k resolution at 60fps. The PlayStation 4 version runs in 1080p at the same frame rate. It is not yet clear what the exact settings are for the Xbox Series X and S and the Xbox One, but it is obvious that they are similar.
The game will have to be purchased separately on the PlayStation 4 and 5. Microsoft will also make the game part of the Game Pass subscription starting August 13. The game is available on Xbox consoles, Windows PCs and via Xbox cloud gaming.
Hades is a rogue-like dungeon crawler created by Supergiant Games, the studio also responsible for Bastion, Transistor, and Pyre. Hades came out in 2020 for PC and Nintendo Switch and has been widely acclaimed. Both the PC and Switch versions have a score of 93 points on Metacritic and also a high user rating.
