Images suspected Sony Xperia Z3 come out

Images have come out of what is believed to be the Sony Xperia Z3. In addition to showing the housing, it becomes clear that, if the pictures are real, the smartphone will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 soc.

The images were posted on the Chinese social network Weibo, where images of unannounced smartphones regularly appear, 9 To 5 Google discovered. It cannot be verified whether the images are actually of the Sony Xperia Z3, but it appears that it is a prototype that was used internally at Sony. A smartphone can be seen that resembles earlier models in Sony’s Xperia series in terms of housing.

Furthermore, it is clear from the images that the suspected Xperia Z3 has a Snapdragon 801 soc, which is also already used in the Xperia Z2. The software is based on Android 4.4.4; this is currently the most recent version and was released by Google last month. The smartphone shown in the images has the model number L55t. It is a Chinese model, but it is likely that Sony will also come with a European model. The manufacturer released the Xperia Z2 in April.

Xperia Blog has also put a number of images of the suspected Xperia Z3 online. In it, the device is placed next to the Galaxy Note from Samsung, which shows that the two smartphones are of the same height.
