Images Super Smash Bros. show new characters

New images of the new Super Smash Bros game have surfaced online. The screenshots of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS and Wii U, Duck Hunt dog Bowser Jr. and Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles as playable characters.

The alleged footage shows the “roster” of available playable characters in Super Smash Bros. Among others, Duck Hunt dog, Bowser Jr. and Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles would be playable in the game as a new character. Some other Nintendo mascots in the game may have to be killed, such as Snake and Ice Climbers, which are not visible in the images.

In addition to Bowser Jr. and Shulk, there are a number of other “fighters” making their debut in Nintendo’s popular fighting game. For example, Mega Man and Pac-Man will make their first appearance in the game. Super Smash Bros. will be released for the Nintendo 3DS on October 3. A Wii U version will follow in the fall of 2014, Kotaku reports.
