‘Images show unannounced Motorola Moto X’
Images have appeared of what would be the next version of the Motorola Moto X. Those images show a flash on the front and a fingerprint scanner that seems to be hidden in the speaker. There is also a lot of information about the upcoming new Moto G.
The images of the Moto X, which appeared on the Facebook page of the Peru Android site, show a design very similar to that of the current Moto X. The screen is said to have a diagonal of 5.5″, while a fingerprint scanner would be on the lower front speaker, and the front camera would also have an LED flash, a feature only found on some phones.
In addition to information and images about the Moto X, the site has also published more information about the new Moto G. The options in Moto Maker for the device are in that image. Moto Maker is the web service that allows users to build their own device using color and configuration options. The current Moto G is not in Moto Maker. The options include a variant with 16GB of storage and a RAM of 2GB.
The 2015 Moto G is rumored to have a 5″ screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, just like the current version. The processor is said to be a Snapdragon 410 from Qualcomm, an update on the Snapdragon 400 from the two previous Moto Gs The 2015 Moto E also has a Snapdragon 410.
Motorola will hold its own event next Tuesday, at which it will probably present the devices. Whether it will also show a successor to its Moto 360 smartwatch is unknown. Rumors about a successor to the smartwatch have also been going on for months.
