Images show Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 graphics cards with 10GB memory
Sapphire looks set to release an unannounced Radeon RX 6700 desktop graphics card soon. That is what tech website Cowcotland claims. That card would have 10GB of memory and fewer compute units than the Radeon RX 6700 XT. The release was supposed to take place on June 9.
Cowcotland publishes images of the alleged Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 models. The manufacturer seems to be coming up with a variant in the Pulse series, among other things. Another image shows an as yet unnamed model. According to the French tech website, the card will have a Navi 22 GPU with 36 compute units, which amounts to 2304 stream processors. For example, the higher positioned RX 6700 XT has 40 cu’s with a total of 2560 stream processors.
The Radeon RX 6700 would therefore have the same configuration as the RX 6700M for laptops. The card would have 10GB GDDR6 memory with a speed of 16Gbit/s. So the bus width is 160bit for a memory bandwidth of 320GB/s. Cowcotland also talks about a game clock of 2330MHz with a boost frequency up to 2495MHz. Both Sapphire models have an 8-pin connection for the power supply. However, the website does not mention tdp.
According to Cowcotland, both video cards will be released on Thursday, June 9. There is talk of a sales price from 569 euros.
