Images show Samsung Galaxy Watch5 watches
Images have emerged of what would become the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro. The South Korean electronics maker would like to present the clocks next month, together with its next generation of foldable smartphones.
The site 91Mobiles publishes the rotating plates of the two models. They come from author Evan Blass. Blass, also known as @evleaks, has often posted images of unannounced products online over the past ten to fifteen years and has a virtually flawless track record in this area.
The Watch5 has a 44mm housing and the Pro variant has a 45mm housing, as the images show. They are waterproof to 5 ATM and have a sapphire plate in front of the OLED screens. Both versions have variants with 4G support. The smartwatches have GPS. Further specifications are not yet clear.
According to Blass, Samsung will present the smartwatches next month. That’s one year after the Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic. The Watch5 succeeds the Watch4, while the Pro variant is the new version of the Classic. The smartwatches run on Wear OS.
