Images show Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition
Images have appeared of an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition. The GPU has the same cooler as the RTX 3080, and therefore has a dual slot design, in contrast to the RTX 3090. The full specifications have also been published.
Images from VideoCardz show that the RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition will once again have a 12-pin connection for power. With this, users must use an included adapter or a compatible power supply. Partner companies’ video card models are expected to return to regular 8-pin connectors.
Furthermore, the RTX 3080 Ti gets a tdp of 350W. That is why it is striking that the Founders Edition gets a dual slot cooler. The GeForce RTX 3090 also has a tdp of 350W, and that model has a larger GPU cooler that occupies three slots. The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will get 10,240 CUDA cores, 320 Tensor cores and 80 cores for ray tracing, according to previous rumors. The video card would also have 12GB of GDDR6X memory with a speed of 19Gbit / s and a 384bit memory bus. Furthermore, the clock speeds have recently appeared in TechPowerUp’s GPU-Z tool. The video card has a standard clock speed of 1365MHz, with a boost clock of 1665MHz.
Rumors have been circulating about the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti for some time now. The video card is expected to be presented on June 1, On that date, Nvidia will hold a GeForce presentation. A GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is also expected at that event, which will get slightly more cores and faster GDDR6X memory compared to the regular RTX 3070.
