Images show custom RX 5700 graphics cards from XFX and PowerColor
Images have emerged of several AMD Radeon RX 5700 and 5700XT graphics cards with XFX and PowerColor custom coolers. The Asian manufacturers showed their cards at a trade show last weekend.
Photos of the PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT Red Devil appeared on Tieba, the social network of the Chinese search engine Baidu. The video card has a cooling block with three fans and a backplate at the back. The design is black with silver; in previous Red Devil versions it was red with black. The logo on the back is equipped with red LEDs. PowerColor provides the card with two eight-pin connectors, indicating an overclock from the factory.
Photos of the XFX Radeon RX 5700XT Thicc2 have been published on VideoCardz. The design of that card is reminiscent of the RX 280X Double Dissipation, which XFX released years ago. The cooling block is equipped with two 10 cm fans. The clock speeds have not yet been announced.
Last week, photos of another RX 5700 video card from XFX appeared via the Chinese PC Online. That is also a model with a thick cooler, but the name of that version has not yet been announced.
PowerColor is a Taiwanese brand and XFX is from the US but is part of a Hong Kong company. Both companies also market their video cards in Europe. Asus showed off some of its RX 5700 cards on Friday, including the ROG Strix and TUF Gaming X3 versions. MSI previously showed a teaser of a modified RX 5700 video card and ASRock also showed cards. The first Radeon RX 5700 custom design graphics cards will be released in mid-August.
