Images show cases of suspected Nexus smartphone LG
Images have surfaced of what would be a case for the new Nexus 5, LG’s upcoming Nexus smartphone. The images show three large cutouts on the back, presumably one for a fingerprint scanner.
The images are originating from Twitterer OnLeaks, who previously published correct renders of the LG G4, among other things. The cases, which are renders in their own right, show three large cutouts on the back, at least one of which is for the camera. Another could be for the flash or strobes, while the third might be a fingerprint scanner. Google has built-in fingerprint scanner support into Android M, so it’s obvious that a new Nexus will have that feature.
The renders otherwise show the placement of the buttons on the side. Furthermore, there is not much to distract from the renders. The front image appears to be a modified version of Motorola’s current Nexus 6. There have been rumors for months about the arrival of two Nexus phones. The smaller one would be from LG and the larger one from Huawei.
