Screenshots have surfaced of what should be Microsoft’s new personal assistant for the office. The program, Office Now, helps, among other things, with planning a meeting and how office workers should get to the meeting.

Neowin managed to get their hands on the program. The site said it was unable to try out all the features because it required a Microsoft employee account. However, the first test shows that the Office Now tool helps to better organize office life by, among other things, scheduling meetings, quickly finding relevant emails and giving directions to a specific meeting.

According to Neowin, the assistant shows a summary of the working day at startup. All meetings are displayed chronologically and the program also informs you if the user has to travel a long way for a meeting. Office Now also notifies you as soon as something changes in the meeting, for example if the administrator moves the time forward.

More details about Office Now are not yet known. Microsoft has not yet announced when the application, which is presumably a result of the Work Assistant test program a few months ago, will be available. Neowin does claim that the assistant will appear for iOS, Android and Windows after a test phase of indefinite duration.
