Images of BlackBerry Q30 appear online
Images appeared online on Monday showing the BlackBerry Q30. This makes the arrival of the smartphone with a physical QWERTY keyboard and a 4.5 “screen final, after a concept image of the device leaked out earlier.
N4bb published the images Monday, after the site previously showed a concept image. The photos show that the BlackBerry Q30 will have a metal edge, as the Q10 and previous devices from the Bold series had. In addition, the pictures show that the device only gets buttons on the right side, including those for the volume.
According to N4bb, the Q30, also called the Windermere, has a 13-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. Furthermore, the device reportedly offers a micro-SD slot, so that the storage space can be expanded. The Q30 also has an irreplaceable battery of 3450mAh on board.
It is the first time that photos of the new BlackBerry smartphone appear online. Earlier, a concept image and information from the sdk also leaked. This showed, among other things, that the resolution of the LCD screen is 1440×1440 pixels. It also stated that the pixel density is 453ppi, but according to N4bb, new information shows that it is 480ppi. After all, the Q30 would run on a Snapdragon MSM8974 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. In addition, according to N4bb, the device will have a working memory of 3GB.
When and for what price the Q30 should be released is still unknown. The release does not seem to be far away anymore: manufacturers are already making covers for the as yet unannounced device.
