‘Image shows unannounced Sony Xperia XZ Premium smartphone’
Sony seems to be working on a successor to the Xperia XZ smartphone, and the first image has probably surfaced now. This shows that the manufacturer opts for a chrome-like finish. The device probably bears the name Xperia XZ Premium.
The image was posted online by Xperia Blog, which does not disclose the source. The picture probably comes from a poster that the manufacturer wants to use for the announcement of the smartphone. The material posted by Xperia Blog shows that Sony will probably opt for a housing that is finished with chrome for the Xperia XZ Premium.
Earlier rumors mentioned that Sony will build in a so-called memory embedded camera in the Xperia XZ Premium. The software could detect motion, after which four pictures per second are taken with the 20-megapixel camera, even before the user presses the button to take a picture. This ‘predictive’ gift of the camera should probably ensure that the user is not late taking a picture.
Furthermore, the unannounced smartphone would have a Snapdragon 835 soc from Qualcomm. A screen resolution of 4k is also mentioned, but what the exact amount of pixels will be has not become clear from the rumors.
Sony will probably announce the Xperia XZ Premium during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which will be held in the coming days. Then it should also become clear about the release and the price.
