Image shows unannounced Samsung Galaxy S6

An image has surfaced online of what would become the Samsung Galaxy S6 and ‘Galaxy Edge’ smartphones. In the images, the alleged S6 has a camera that protrudes slightly from the rest of the housing, just like many previous Galaxy S devices.

The image only shows the back of the alleged Galaxy S6 and ‘Galaxy Edge’. The device can also be seen in various cases. The shot comes from a South Korean electronics distributor. Cnet has put the image online.

The image shows a device with a metal bezel and a back with a different shade of color than the bezel. The camera sticks out slightly and next to it are the LED flash and suspected heart rate monitor. The phone is rumored to be around 14.3x7cm in size. At least that’s the info that case makers would have gotten. The thickness would be 6.9mm.

Samsung will hold its own event in Barcelona on Sunday, March 1, where it will likely present the new smartphones. It is unknown when the phone should be released.
