Image shows the front of LG V20 smartphone with Android 7.0 Nougat
An image has appeared of the LG V20, the first new smartphone with Android 7.0 Nougat. The render shows a different design than LG has made for the G5. In addition, the manufacturer has placed a second screen on the front, just like on its predecessor.
The render, that originating is from ‘smartphone nice’ EvLeaks, who in the past has often been the first to release images of new smartphones, shows a phone with a less emphatic ‘chin’ than the G5. LG uses the bottom of the G5 for clicking modules that add functions. It is unknown if those modules are compatible with the V20.
The on-screen image also shows a previously unseen ‘In Apps’ icon on the home screen, but it’s unknown what it stands for. The render of the screen shows some differences with the screenshot that Google released of the device on its site about Android Nougat. In the render of LG, various LG apps have been switched for the Google variants. The V20 should follow last year’s V10.
The South Korean smartphone maker will present the V20 in two weeks. It holds events in two cities, Seoul and San Francisco. The manufacturer previously said that it will start with the delivery of its smartphone at the end of September.
