Image shows Nexus 9 tablet from Google and HTC

An image has appeared online that would show the back of the Nexus 9, the upcoming tablet from Google and HTC with Nvidia processor and 9 “screen. Google is rumored to present the tablet within a few weeks.

The image is online set by the Chinese phone good Upleaks, which often seems to have unannounced information about HTC products. The image shows how the tablet has a matte plastic back that closely resembles that of last year’s Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. The styling is obviously from Google, as HTC has no other products with such a design.

The tablet from Google and HTC will probably be the first product with the 64-bit version of the Nvidia Tegra K1 soc, assisted by a G20A GPU from Nvidia itself. The 8.9″ screen would have a resolution of 2048×1440 pixels.

According to previous rumors, Google will present the Nexus 9 sometime in mid-October. The tablet should come out with a suggested retail price of around $400, which usually results in a price of around $400.
