Image shows never released Lumia 650 XL and Lumia 2020 with 8.3″ screen
An image has appeared that shows a large number of Nokia Lumia devices, including an 8.3 “tablet that would run Windows RT. The image would also show the Nokia XL 2: a second Android device from Nokia.
The Lumia 2020 was supposed to be Nokia’s second tablet with Windows RT, after the Lumia 2520, which did appear. The image published on Baidu shows the tablet with 8.3″ screen in green. The tablet should have had a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a slot for nano-SIM cards.
In addition, according to Nokia Power User, the Lumia 650XL is visible in white in the photo; a 5.4″ device with a 720p resolution that Microsoft previously worked on under the name Lumia 850. The device was supposed to appear this year, but was eventually scrapped. Also visible is the also unreleased Nokia XL 2, a successor to the first generation of Android devices from Nokia from 2014.
The images show more prototypes of unannounced devices, some of which bear the Microsoft logo, others were under the Nokia flag. Many handsets have been scrapped due to continued low sales of Windows Phone smartphones.
