Image of new Sony NEX-7 ilc camera appeared
An image of the new NEX-7 ilc from Sony has appeared on the internet. The compact system camera looks like a larger NEX-5, with more controls. In addition, a photo of the new NEX-5N can be seen.
The images of the new NEX-ilc cameras are appeared on the rumor site SonyAlphaRumors. The photo of the NEX-7, which is said to be the new top model of Sony’s NEX camera line, seems to have the credibility of a earlier appeared to enlarge render of the NEX-7. It should be noted that the Sony branding and Alpha logo have some pixel noise around the edges in the latest image and the orientation of the hot shoe and lens do not seem to match. The new ilc would be announced on August 24, along with a new NEX-5 version, the Alpha SLT-A77 camera and two new lenses.
The biggest difference with the current NEX-5 would be the built-in OLED EVF, with about three million sub-pixels. Like the NEX-5, the new NEX-7 would have a metal body, but the latter looks bigger than the miniscule NEX-5. The NEX-7 looks a bit more angular and has more direct controls. For example, the NEX-7 has two adjustment wheels on the top and extra buttons on the back. In addition, the NEX-7 is the first NEX camera to have a built-in flash and Sony has equipped the camera with a hot shoe that comes from the Alpha A-dslr series. The tilting LCD would be retained.
In addition to the NEX-7, the NEX-5 will also receive an update. This ilc camera, with the type number NEX-5N, looks the same as its predecessor in the image at SonyAlphaRumors, taken straight from the front. However, it will probably be equipped with a newer image sensor, just like the new NEX-C3. The image on the rumor site also shows a 55-210mm lens for the E-mount of the NEX cameras.
Furthermore, the long-awaited Alpha A77 is reportedly making its appearance on August 24. The Alpha A77 is a semi-professional camera with a fixed mirror construction and a 24-megapixel image sensor. There are also rumors of the announcement of an adapter for NEX cameras with a fixed mirror and phase-detection-af module, an interchangeable electronic viewfinder with the same OLED display as in the NEX-7 that can only be used on the new NEX-5N. and a successor to the Sony NEX-VG10 camcorder, the NEX-VG20. At the end of August it will become clear which of these products will actually be announced.
