Image may show Xiaomi-related Black Shark gaming phone
A photo recently published on Weibo most likely shows the upcoming game phone from the Chinese Black Shark. Xiaomi is said to be the largest investor in the company, which plans to unveil the phone soon.
The recent Weibo post seems to show the back of the phone. A double camera stands out, just like the bulky shapes of the device. They are probably the result of a case. Separately, the back shows the green logo of Black Shark. That company writes on its website that it counts Xiaomi among its main investors. The company has been in existence since August last year.
Gadgets 360 writes that the company has previously said that it wants to present the phone on April 13. In addition, information would have been released earlier that indicates that the device runs on a Snapdragon 845-soc from Qualcomm. The site writes on the basis of the Weibo source that the device is equipped with an OLED screen and that there is a fingerprint scanner underneath. The absence of the scanner on the back of the phone would support these suspicions.
What further makes the device a gaming phone will have to become apparent during the presentation. Razer released such a device, which the gaming hardware company equipped with a 120Hz screen. Renders were previously released that would show the Black Shark phone, but they turned out to be fake: the device in the pictures is a Matrimax iPLAY, a gaming tablet from 2015 with Nvidia soc.
