Image LG G7 ThinQ smartphone shows 3.5mm jack at the bottom
An image of the LG G7 ThinQ smartphone has appeared that shows the device from all sides. This shows that the device has a 3.5mm jack on the bottom, while an extra button is on the side.
The fingerprint scanner is on the back of the device, as can be seen from the image that @evleaks published. Above it is a dual camera. A top view of the phone shows that the camera barely protrudes from the housing. There is a 3.5mm jack on the bottom. With this, LG, like competitors such as Samsung and OnePlus, sticks to the analog audio jack on high-end models. Many manufacturers, including Apple, Huawei and HTC, have removed it.
There is a button on both sides. One is a Power button, the other would be an Assistant button. The name G7 ThinQ refers to LG’s efforts in the field of artificial intelligence. Competitor Samsung has a button on the housing of the Galaxy S8 and S9 for its digital assistant Bixby, Google has a squeeze function on the Pixel 2 phones that the Assistant can call.
LG will present the G7 ThinQ next week. Renders of the housing have also been released earlier. It is not yet known when the phone will be released and how much it will cost.
