ILMxLAB has announced the VR game Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge. The game will be released next month and will be available for Facebook’s Oculus platform. The game contains well-known characters such as R2D2, C-3PO and Yoda.

In addition, it is the actors from the original films who provide the voices for C-3PO and Yoda, according to the developer. The VR game takes place on the planet Battu, where players take on the role of a droids repairman who, among other things, discovers a hidden Jedi temple on the planet.

In addition to the first part, the developer has already announced that it is also working on a second part of the game, which should be released next year. It is still unclear what the theme will be or when it will be released.

It is not the first VR game in the Star Wars universe. Vader Immortal previously appeared, while Squadrons can also be played in VR. The first installment of Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge will be released on November 19 for the Oculus Quest and Quest 2 for $ 25.
