Iiyama Releases 24.5″ FHD Monitor with 240Hz Panel and 0.4ms Response Time

Iiyama has released a new gaming monitor in the Gold Phoenix line. The GB2590HSU-B1 is a 1080p monitor with a screen diagonal of 24.5″ and a refresh rate of 240Hz. The monitor costs about 330 euros.

The GB2590HSU has a 24.5″ fast IPS panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The image has a viewing angle of 178 degrees and a maximum brightness of 400cd/m². The monitor falls in the Golden Phoenix line that is aimed at gamers. The display has a 240Hz refresh rate and a claimed mprt of 0.4ms. The monitor also supports FreeSync Premium and has a few specific gaming modes for different types of games. Players can also use the Black Tuner functionality to target specific dark areas. to make the image brighter.

The screen has an HDMI 2.0 and a DisplayPort 1.4 connection. There are also two USB-A 3.0 ports. Users can connect headphones to the monitor, and there are two 2W speakers on the monitor. The screen is tiltable and adjustable in height.

Iiyama does not mention a release date or price, but online stores state that the screen is expected in mid-September. The screen is listed for prices around 330 euros. That’s comparable to 24.5″-240Hz monitors from other brands.
