Id Software Shows First Teaser Of Upcoming Single Player DLC Doom Eternal
Id Software has shown the first teaser of Doom Eternal – The Ancient Gods, Part One. The DLC picks up where the original story left off. The Doom Slayer has disrupted the balance in the sky with his actions in the game, which he will probably rectify in this DLC.
The teaser was shown as part of the QuakeCon fair. A full trailer for the DLC will be shown on Gamescom opening night on August 27. Due to the corona virus, the fair is only available in digital form this year. Normally, the fair can be found in Cologne.

First-person shooter Doom Eternal came out earlier this year and is the seventh game in the franchise, exclusive spin-offs. It’s the second part to come out after a long hiatus after Doom 3, which got its last expansion in 2005. In 2016, the baton was picked up again with Doom. This latest game uses the id Tech 7 engine.
On Thursday it was also announced that Doom Eternal will get versions especially for the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5, the new generation of consoles that should be released at the end of this year.
