Id Software has a sequel to the 2016 reboot of Doom in the works. With Doom Eternal you will get twice as many demons as Doom Slayer than with the previous game, the makers promise.

Doom Eternal is set in a hell on earth setting, Bethesda announced at the E3 announcement and the publisher is publishing a teaser to give an impression of that setting. The game brings classic and new monsters and as a player you can have new more powerful weapons and different abilities than the previous Doom game.

The soundtrack for the game is created by Australian composer Mick Gordon, who is also responsible for the music from the previous Doom game and the Wolfenstein games. Bethesda and id Software will reveal more details about Doom Eternal at Quakecon 2018, which begins August 10 in Dallas.
