ID-Cooling introduces a processor cooler that is 47mm high. This makes the cooler suitable for compact itx systems. ID-Cooling’s IS-47K can be used on both AMD and Intel sockets.

According to the manufacturer, the ID-Cooling IS-47K is designed for processors with a TDP up to 130W. The cooler has a copper base and six copper heatpipes with a diameter of 6mm. Those heatpipes are in contact with a cooling block with aluminum fins. Between the base plate and the cooling block is a 15mm thick 92mm fan.

The cooler can be mounted on motherboards with a lg1156 socket or newer and on AM4 motherboards. The total dimensions are 120x110x47mm and the weight is 500 grams. The supplied PWM fan runs at a speed of 600 to 2500 rpm and produces 14 to 33 dB(A) of noise according to the specifications.

ID-Cooling reports that the IS-47K cooler will be available at the end of June or the beginning of July for around 48 euros. The design of the cooler resembles that of the Alpenföhn Black Ridge, which has been available for about the same price for a number of years. However, that cooler is designed for CPUs with a TDP up to 95W.
