Hyundai will arrive in 2019 with a hydrogen truck
Hyundai presented an artist impression of his very first electrically powered truck with a fuel cell on the eve of the Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) in Hannover. This hydrogen truck must be officially launched in Europe in 2019.
According to Hyundai, the truck has a striking design with smooth, smooth lines and surfaces. The vehicle is aerodynamically designed to keep the air resistance as low as possible.
Hyundai started developing hydrogen cars twenty years ago and started manufacturing the world’s first series-produced hydrogen car in 2013, the Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell.
Recently Hyundai also did a test with a self-driving truck, the Xcient. In South Korea, he traveled a distance of 40 kilometers completely independently on the motorway.
