Hyundai to show flying car concept at CES

Hyundai has announced that it will be showing a flying car concept at the Consumer Electronics Show. These cars must be able to take off and land from hubs that are specially constructed for this purpose.

The manufacturer itself calls this its Personal Air Vehicle, which shows that the cars must be used for personal use; many companies working on flying cars see them more as taxis. Incidentally, Hyundai provides little information, so it is not yet clear what exactly the company will show the public during CES. It is clear that it is a concept car.

Take-off and landing opportunities are within the hubs, which must appear in multiple places in cities. Hyundai also sees these as places for people to come together.

Furthermore, Hyundai mentions the development of a fully self-driving car; this will also be discussed during the presentations at CES. Further details are lacking, but it was previously announced that Hyundai wants to bring self-driving cars on the market in 2022.
