HyperX announces webcam, audio mixer and microphone boom
HyperX unveiled the HyperX Vision S webcam on Thursday. It is the first webcam that the manufacturer brings to the market. In addition to the camera, HyperX will also launch an audio mixer and a microphone arm. It is not yet known when the products will be released in the Benelux
The Vision S is mainly intended for streamers, writes HyperX. The webcam has an 8mp Sony Starvis IMX415 sensor. This allows the device to record 4K images at a frame rate of 30fps and 1080p images at 60fps. The Vision S works with HyperX’s NGENUITY software, which allows the user to adjust recording quality and light settings to their preference. Furthermore, the webcam has an aluminum housing and a magnetic cap to cover the lens. The Vision S costs $200.
The second device HyperX has unveiled is the Audio Mixer. The mixer has an XLR microphone input, a 3.5mm microphone input and a 3.5mm stereo input. The device can be connected to the desktop with a USB-C cable and has a sampling rate of 96kHz with a depth of 24 bit. The Audio Mixer will be available in early 2024 for $180. Finally, Caster has been announced. This is a microphone arm on which webcams with 1/4″, 3/8″ or 5/8″ threads can be mounted. The arm will appear on the American market in February 2024 for $120.
