Sony and Capcom have jointly announced the first Humble Bundle for the PlayStation under the name ‘Humble Capcom PlayStation Bundle’. The collection of games can be purchased until September 5, but that is only possible for American PSN users.
This Humble Bundle also has different levels associated with certain games. For example, participants can pay any amount above $1 to qualify for the “pay what you want” tier. It contains games such as Strider and Final Fight: Double Impact. Users can also choose which part of the amount paid is given to a good cause, such as Save the Children or the American Red Cross.
A payment of $15 or more will earn participants all games in the Humble Bundle collection, including Resident Evil 0 and the Devil May Cry HD Collection. In addition, there is the possibility to pay more than the average, which means that games such as Okami HD, Resident Evil and Lost Planet 3 can be obtained. At the moment the average is about twelve dollars. The vast majority of games are only available for the PlayStation 3 and there is usually one PlayStation 4 game per level.
At the moment the collection can only be purchased by users with a PSN account in the US regions, it is unclear whether European users will be able to participate at some point. Humble Bundle, together with Nintendo, released a collection in April, which was also for sale to European users.
