Huawei achieved a turnover of 454 billion Chinese yuan, or about 57 billion euros, in the first half of 2020. That is an increase of 13.1 percent compared to the same period last year. More than half of the turnover comes from the consumer division.

The half-yearly sales of Huawei’s divisions for mobile networks, enterprises and consumers amounted to 20 billion, 4.57 billion and 32.17 billion euros respectively. This means that mobile networks make up 35 percent, enterprises 8 percent and consumers 56 percent of the half-year turnover.

Huawei delivered revenue growth despite US sanctions against the company and the negative impact the corona crisis had in part of the half year. The Chinese company does not specify the turnover by category or region.

Huawei also does not mention the influence of the sanctions on its business operations, but does speak about the importance of ‘open cooperation’ and ‘trust’. The group also promises to honor agreements with customers ‘whatever future challenges the company faces’.
