Huawei will release its Watch on September 23 for 399 euros
The Huawei Watch will be available in the Benelux on September 23 and the starting price will be 399 euros. Huawei announced this on Wednesday at the IFA in Berlin. The round smartwatch was announced at the beginning of this year, but is only now available in the Benelux.
With a starting price of 399 euros, the Huawei Watch is more expensive than many competing Android Wear smartwatches. The model is the first smartwatch from the Chinese company and when it was introduced in March this year, the design appeared to be very similar to that of classic watches, but a bit thicker.
The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and the round 1.4 “screen shows 400×400 pixels, for a ppi value of 285. There is also 512MB RAM and 4GB storage memory. The smartwatch runs Android Wear and also supports Bluetooth 4.1. sensors include a six-axis motion sensor and a heart rate monitor.
