Huawei will bring foldable Mate X to Europe in a few months
Huawei will release the foldable Mate X smartphone in Europe before the end of March. That’s what a CEO said in an interview. He also says that Huawei will present the next foldable smartphone in February.
It is obvious that Huawei will release the Mate X in Europe. The newer model has a Kirin 990-soc and will be released in China in March. A release of the newer model in Europe is therefore also obvious. The Mate X was released in China last month.
In addition to the Mate X, Huawei will also present a new foldable smartphone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February next year, CEO Richard Yu said in an interview with Frandroid. No details are known about this yet.
The new models cannot yet contain Google services. Google is not allowed to approve new Huawei phones due to the US government’s trade ban. The Mate 30 Pro came this fall in Germany, Switzerland and Spain without Google apps.
