Huawei enters business laptop market with MateBook B200
Without giving any publicity to it, Huawei has put the MateBook B200 on its website. It is a variant of the MateBook D, which Huawei announced in May for the mainstream consumer market. It is Huawei’s first business laptop.
The MateBook B200 is a notebook with a 15.6″ screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and bezels of 6.2 mm thick. The thickness of the laptop is 16.9 mm and the weight is 1.9 kilograms. Huawei comes with variants with up to 16GB DDR4 and 1TB HDD storage, making these features identical to the MateBook D, the company’s mainstream consumer laptop.
There is a difference in the colour; the B200 will be available in black. In addition, the screen is matte instead of glossy and Huawei offers more configurations. In addition to versions with Core i5 and Core i7 processors, there will be variants with Core i3 chips.
The MateBook B200 will probably not come to the market in the Benelux for the time being. The laptops announced in May will not come out of this either, the company said at the time. The MateBook 2-in-1 is available in the Benelux.
