Huawei announces MateBook X Pro 2022 with 3:2 14.2″ screen

Huawei has announced the MateBook X Pro 2022, a laptop with a 14.2″ screen with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. The manufacturer provides the laptop with an Intel Tiger Lake processor.

The resolution of the 14.2″ screen is 3120 x 2080 pixels and the panel is surrounded by thin bezels. The maximum screen brightness is 500cd/m² and the laptop has DisplayHDR400 certification. Users can choose whether to set the refresh rate at up to 90Hz or, for longer battery life, to 60Hz.

The dimensions of the laptop are 310 x 221 mm, the thickness is 15.5 mm and the weight is 1.38 kilograms. Huawei uses the Core i7-1195G7 for the MateBook X Pro 2022. That is another Tiger Lake model, while Intel is expected to announce its Alder Lake generation in early 2022.

The laptop also has a standard 16GB Lpddr4, a 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD, a battery with a capacity of 60Wh, four USB-C ports and a 3.5mm audio port. Huawei announced the laptop in its home country of China. It is unknown when the laptop will be available in Europe.
