HTC teases the arrival of ‘small’ HTC Vive glasses
HTC has teased the arrival of HTC Vive glasses, although the image still shows very little of the headset. It would be a ‘small’ headset. It may be the successor to the HTC Vive Flow, which is already somewhat smaller than most XR headsets.

On Twitter, the HTC Vive account posted a teaser image of a future product. The company confirms to UploadVR that it is a headset. It is striking that ‘VR’ is not mentioned. It may be a mixed reality headset instead. In that case, augmented reality can play a role through passthrough, such as with the recently released Pico 4 from ByteDance.
The shared image reads: “Go small or go home.” The company seems to suggest that these are smaller VR glasses than other HTC Vive headsets. HTC’s responses to the tweet also indicate that the company is working on a ‘small’ headset. It is possible that it is a successor of the HTC Vive Flow, which is generally a somewhat smaller pair of glasses.
It is not known when more information about the upcoming HTC Vive glasses will be released. It is, however, a busy period in the field of extended reality products. In addition to the recently released Pico 4, the upcoming ‘high-end’ VR glasses from Meta will be unveiled on October 11. In addition, the successor to the PSVR headset from Sony is expected early next year.
